The Tech African Women (TAW) is a five month intensive program (August-December), supporting the incubation of 8 startups, best performers female entrepreneurs in the country Bootcamp pitching competitions that will be organized in four African countries : Tunisia, Senegal, Tanzania & Ethiopia

The concept combines ecosystem exploration, a two month incubation phase, Tech development, market readiness and seed opportunities for African Women Tech Founders.
TAW puts a strong emphasis on community and network building, connecting female founders with relevant stakeholders of the African startup ecosystem for more synergies and
learning opportunities.
Objectives
- Empower female founders to leverage their skills to build strong tech startups
- Accelerate the transformation of project ideas and prototypes into validated
- business models, ready for market and ready for investment
- Promote entrepreneurship through digital technology
- Promote development of tech solution addressing the continents problems
- Monitor, measure, map the innovative climate for young women in the region
- Build communities and alliances to aggregate opportunities for women entrepreneurs
- and maximize impact.
- Consolidate a better understanding and mapping of the diverse startup ecosystems in the targeted countries and create sustainable linkages
- Create an enabling environment for meaningful partnerships for a better Africa
Target
- Young African women aged between 18 – 35 years old willing to launch a tech startup
- A young leader creating positive, direct, and intended impact aligned to at least of the SDGs
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and a true sense of commitment
- Aware of the continental challenges and very motivated to solve the challenges of your community

Bootcamp

Eligibilities
Eligibility criterias
- All participants must be female between 18 and 35 years old.
- To have an idea of a tech startup that is addressing at least one of the SDGs
- To be a national of one of the targeted countries: Tunisia, Tanzania, Senegal & Ethiopia
- To be available and committed to attending all the bootcamp sessions physically and the online incubation phase
- To be able to communicate fluently in French or English
