YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE WORLD

The Diana Award is the only charity established in memory of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, and her enduring belief that young people have the power to change the world. Its mission is to empower young people to lead that change through a range of initiatives that unlock potential, inspire action, and create opportunities- ensuring that no young person is left out or left behind.

This vision cannot be achieved in isolation. By working alongside young people and strategic partners, the organisation seeks to drive meaningful change and shape a better future. The belief is clear: the future is safest in the hands of those who will live it.

Inspired by Princess Diana’s legacy and her belief in the transformative power of youth, the team behind The Diana Award works to turn that vision into reality. Change is a collective effort, and through collaboration, the organisation is building a future-focused and impactful operation.

On a day-to-day basis, The Diana Award team engages with communities through anti-bullying campaigns, mentoring programmes, and changemaker initiatives. Additional activities include fundraising, managing corporate partnerships, providing essential HR and communications support, and celebrating the achievements of young people across the globe.

The Diana Award was founded on the late Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change their community, their country and the world. It exists to empower young people to make that positive change. It’s done this by:

Unlocking Potential

With support, guidance and opportunities every young person can reach their full potential, ensuring no young person is left out or left behind.

Creating Opportunities

Young people deserve a seat at the table to shape decisions about our shared future.  Their voice enriches decision-making and inspires us all to do more and do better.
