The University of Nottingham is offering scholarships towards full-time master’s tuition fees for high-achieving international students who live in Africa. Nottingham is organized into five constituent faculties, which there are more than 50 schools, departments, institutes, and research centers.

Benefits
- Africa Postgraduate Excellence Award is covering a £4,000 contribution towards tuition fees.
- You may also be eligible to apply for Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship.You can apply and be considered for both of these scholarships but you will not be awarded both.
Eligibilities
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- be domiciled in Africa.
- be classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.hold an offer to start a full-time masters (including MRes) in any subject area at the University of Nottingham UK in September or October 2021.
- If English isn’t your first language, you will also need to meet the relevant English language requirements.
- Depending on the course you are applying for, you may also need to provide two references, including at least one who can comment on your academic ability.
Application Process
- You must apply for and receive an offer to study a full-time masters (including MRes) at the University of Nottingham before applying for this scholarship.
- If you have an offer for an MRes course, email the scholarships team on [email protected] for instructions on how to apply.
- You will need to answer questions about your achievements, study plans and reasons for choosing to study at the University of Nottingham.
- They will contact with you in early July 2021 to confirm the outcome of your application.
- Please note that you will receive an email to confirm the outcome of your scholarship application once the final results are known; this will normally take place within six weeks of the closing date. You can also check the status of your application by logging into MyNottingham.
- Make sure that you upload scanned copies of your degree certificate and transcripts, as well as any other supporting documents.
