Application for the Turkish Government Scholarships (Türkiye Scholarships 2024) is now open for international students from all countries.
Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded higher education scholarship program run by the Republic of Türkiye for international students. The primary purpose of Türkiye Scholarships is to provide equal opportunities to successful students around the world in order for them to receive scholarship education at international standards. It is also aimed to develop mutual cooperation between Turkey and other countries and to contribute to regional and global development in many fields from academia to art, from economy to literature, technology to architecture.
Türkiye Scholarships is considered to be the most comprehensive scholarship program in the world with the possibility of university and department placement, monthly scholarships, university tuition, health insurance, housing, Turkish language course, plane tickets and free academic and cultural programs. Türkiye Scholarships provide international students with the opportunity to study and receive scholarships at the most prestigious universities in Türkiye.
Programs and Levels of Study
- Programs open for application are: Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs
- Applications will be open to applicants who wish to study at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
- Other programs such as Research Scholarships, Success Scholarships, and KATİP have different application periods and are announced regularly on their website and social media channels.

Required Documents
To apply for the Turkey Scholarship 2024, ensure you have the following documents:

Eligibility Criteria
Türkiye scholarships are open to citizens of all countries, with varying academic achievement levels required:
- Bachelor’s degree applicants: 70%
- Health Science applicants (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy): 90%
- Master’s and PhD degree applicants: 75%
Application criteria include age limits:
- Under 21 for Undergraduate programs
- Under 30 for Master’s programs
- Under 35 for Ph.D. programs
- Under 45 for Research programs Note: Currently enrolled students are not eligible.
