The African Changemakers Network Weavers-In-Residence program is a 12-month volunteer opportunity program for young talented leaders and motivated changemakers from around Africa to work directly with the African Changemakers Network Country Coordinators in their region to expand, recruit, support, and build the African Changemakers Network movement in their communities.

With a membership of over 140 organizations across 37 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, The African Changemakers Network is a pan-African, youth-led impact alliance (network of networks) for youth-led impact and enterprise organizations in Africa, including the Africans-in-Diaspora communities established to increase collective impact and system change on the African continent. The alliance is positioned to strengthen the African social impact ecosystem for sustainable alternative solutions to the issues of poverty and social injustice through organized efforts.

The Weaver-In-Residence program is designed to fasten young changemakers with innovative social impact and leadership skills and competencies by creating spaces for them to function in leadership positions within the African Changemakers Network. This Program aims to develop visionary leaders who can be youth mobilizers of social and systems change in the present and the future.
