Call for applications for Paradigm Fellowship 2026: Fully Funded Retreat in Northern California is open now!!!

Paradigm Fellowship is now accepting applications for a four-day retreat for young technical builders worldwide, focusing on what they have built rather than their education level. For their fourth year, they’re expanding to welcome builders across every frontier — AI, robotics, energy, aerospace, bio, prediction markets, crypto, or something they haven’t thought of.

Get the Youth Opportunities iOS App here for the fully-funded opportunities.

Last year’s cohort included participants from 10 different countries, consisting of undergraduates, dropouts, and alumni from organizations like OpenAI, SpaceX, Citadel, and Kalshi. The fellows have engaged with cofounders, launched companies, joined Paradigm’s research team, and successfully raised funds.

The program features fireside chats, whiteboarding sessions, and dedicated time for hacking. What truly makes it effective, however, is everything that happens in between. Participants value progress over initial outcomes. If you’re an early-stage, deeply technical individual seeking like-minded peers who are passionate about building something meaningful and tackling challenging problems through technical solutions, this opportunity is designed for you.

Paradigm is a frontier technology investment firm. They live on the frontier and believe in progress through technology. They invest and build in crypto, AI, robotics, and across new frontiers from the earliest stages, often when there’s no more than an idea. Many of them have worked on tools, protocols, and companies that are now some of the most used on the internet. They build software, much of it open source, that aims to advance the frontier for everyone.

Research is core to everything they do. They believe depth is a prerequisite for invention, and that real progress happens at the frontier, not in the boardroom or the ivory tower. They are as likely to collaborate on a research paper or ship code as they are to advise on product or business strategy.

If you’re building something ambitious at the frontier, go build with them.

Benefits

  • If you’re accepted, they’ll provide a stipend to help cover travel and any other costs associated with attending the Fellowship in person. They don’t want financial constraints to be a barrier.

Eligibilities

  • There’s no strict age requirement, but they’re looking for individuals early in their careers — most fellows are in high school, college, or graduate programs, or are recent grads or dropouts. What matters more than where you are institutionally is what you’ve built, shipped, or figured out.
  • Many fellows have started a company (or plan to), but they have also accepted students, academic researchers, engineers, traders, etc.
