Selected Professions Fellowships are designed to support women pursuing their first full-time master’s or professional degree in fields where female representation has historically been low, particularly in STEM disciplines, at accredited institutions across the United States. The fellowship aims to empower women to excel in high-demand areas and contribute to the diversification of traditionally male-dominated fields.

Each fellowship provides a stipend of $20,000, awarded directly to recipients and distributed in two equal installments: one at the beginning of the fellowship term and another at its midpoint. This financial support helps fellows focus fully on their academic and professional development without the burden of graduate-level costs, allowing them to dedicate more energy to research, innovation, and leadership in their respective fields.
The fellowship supports women pursuing degrees in the following disciplines:
- Architecture – exploring innovative design and sustainable urban planning.
- Natural and Physical Sciences – advancing research and discovery in biology, chemistry, physics, and related fields.
- Technology – contributing to software development, information systems, and cutting-edge technological innovations.
- Engineering – excelling in civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
- Mathematics – developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for theoretical and applied applications.
- Medicine – pursuing careers in healthcare and medical professions.
