Jacaranda FM and Access Bank are joining forces in a drive to elevate female entrepreneurs, empower women and shape success in business. With this event, they hope to shine a spotlight on successful women-led businesses, sharing their inspiring stories to motivate and inspire others.
This Women’s Month is the opportunity to seize the chance to win a share of over R2 million in advertising packages on Jacaranda FM, cash, and educational prizes, plus invaluable support to help your business thrive.
Jacaranda FM and Access Bank South Africa are calling on all female entrepreneurs who have been in business for no less than 1 year to enter Womenpreneur Her Perfect Pitch 2023. This competition offers a chance to win a life-changing prize and gain valuable business experience.
To elevate female entrepreneurs in the spirit of Women’s Month, Jacaranda FM and Access Bank South Africa have launched Womenpreneur Her Perfect Pitch 2023 for the second year in a row. The beloved radio station with over 1.2 million listeners and Access Bank continues to champion the women of Mzansi by giving them the tools and resources to break boundaries.
To enter, women can visit the Womenpreneur Her Perfect Pitch website to tell what their business is about, why their business is important, how it gives back to the community, and what help they think their business needs to see their business purpose come to life. A complete company profile including more detail about the business, the staff compliment, and a business plan should also be included in the submission.
The banking and entertainment leaders are the first to collaborate to create a meaningful campaign with tangible business assistance to Womenpreneurs by perfecting their ‘elevator pitch’ and taking their business to the next level by winning their share of R2 million worth of prizes.
Each panelist will share varying yet business-critical advice with these women.

Eligibilities
- To participate in the Competition, the participant must:
- Hold a South African identity document or valid Visa if a foreign person.
- Live in the Republic of South Africa.
- Be a woman in business with a minimum of 50% ownership.
- Be 18 years and older.
- Have a business registered in South Africa.
- Have a business that is at least a year old.
- Provide correct and full personal contact details.
Application Process
- Head on over to the Womenpreneur Her Perfect Pitch website to enter electronically from 1 to 31 August 2023.
- Complete the form and upload documents.
- If the participant is successful, they will be notified that they are in the Top 30 Womenpreneurs and invited to a breakfast networking event with a special guest speaker.
- The Top 10 successful women will be invited to the judging event that will take place on 19 October in the pitching den. The winner announcement will be at a Gala dinner on 2 November 2023. Entries are now open and will officially close on 31 August 2023.
- STEP 1: Create a profile
- STEP 2: Fill in the application form. The participant will need to set aside some time to do this, as they will be asked to submit their financial statements as well as to tell the hosts more about their business, vision, USPs, etc.
- STEP 3: Top 30 applicants will be selected and invited to a Networking Breakfast. They will also be required to prepare and submit a video pitch for their business.
- STEP 4: Top 10 finalists will be selected and invited to pitch their business live to a panel of judges at the Jacaranda FM studios in Johannesburg.
- STEP 5: The top three finalists will be announced at a glittering Gala Dinner in Johannesburg.
