Through the global “Color the World with Character Traits” PreK–12 Poster Drive, students share their creativity and vision of character. Winners shine at the “STARS in the CHARACTER SKY” event, connecting with inspiring role models from around the world.
Together, we can guide young minds toward a brighter, more ethical future—coloring the world with the traits that matter most.

- All participants will receive a Congratulations Certificate from The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
- All participants will receive a Certificate of Recognition from the University of Houston.
- All participants will receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the Rice University School Mathematics Project.
- All participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the CHARACTER COUNTS!
- All teachers will receive a prestigious Certificate of Appreciation from Character.org powered by CharacterPlus.
- Winning poster owners will receive a You are a Star Certificate from the School of Science and Technology.
- All participants will receive a Participation Certificate from Kloodle.
- Winning poster owners will be invited to participate in the STARS in the Character Sky Virtual Event on May 7, 2026.
- STAR Poster owners will be invited to a 15-day self-paid Character & SEL Summer Camp in Texas. Details about the camp location, participation fee, and guidelines will be shared later.
- All participants’ names and some posters will be displayed in the Gallery section of the world-renowned website www.TheCharacterWeek.com, based on their opt-in/out preference, after May 7, 2026.
Eligibilities
All students from pre-K to 12th grade, including homeschoolers, are warmly welcomed to join this inspiring opportunity. Participation is entirely free of charge!

Essential Details

Eligibility – Open to all PreK–12 students, including homeschoolers, from anywhere in the world.

Judges’ Decisions – All judging decisions are final and binding across all categories and grade divisions.

Originality – Entries must be entirely original, reflecting your own creativity and artistic talent.

Contact Information – Collected information will only be used for The Character Education Week and will never be used for marketing or unrelated purposes.

Language – Your poster may be in English or your native language, but please include an English translation.

Ownership – All entries become the property of the Texas Character Education Week Poster Drive and will not be returned. They reserve the right to edit posters or slogans for reproduction.

Recognition – Selected posters will be featured in the Gallery Section at www.TheCharacterWeek.com and shared on their social media channels. Students will be recognized by:

Scan or photograph your artwork (artwork only, no backgrounds).

Complete the entry form in full.

Use only English or Latin letters.

Avoid foreign letters/characters and special symbols (#, $, &, etc.).

Do not use line breaks in text fields.

Ensure your submission meets all poster drive requirements.

Upload your artwork.

(Optional) Post your reflection statement in English on the Padlet platform, answering the character value question related to your poster.
