Selected scholars will receive full funding to attend the One Young World Summit, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3–6 November 2026. The summit brings together thousands of young leaders, entrepreneurs, activists, policymakers, and innovators from more than 190 countries.

The One Young World Leading Scholarship is the flagship scholarship program of One Young World. It was created to ensure that talented and impactful young leaders from around the globe can access the annual One Young World Summit regardless of financial barriers.
One Young World is an international organization that identifies, connects, and promotes young leaders who are working to create positive social, environmental, and economic change. Through its annual summit, the organization brings together emerging leaders and influential global figures to discuss solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
The 2026 summit will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3–6 November 2026. The event marks the return of the summit to Africa for the first time since Johannesburg 2013 and will celebrate youth leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact.

The Leading Scholarship specifically targets outstanding young leaders from countries that are often underrepresented at global forums and decision-making platforms. Through this initiative, One Young World seeks to create a more diverse and inclusive community of changemakers.
Participants will gain access to keynote sessions, networking opportunities, workshops, mentoring, and discussions led by world-renowned leaders from business, government, civil society, and international organizations. Scholars will also become part of the global One Young World network, which includes more than 20,000 young leaders from 196 countries.
The scholarship is designed to amplify the work of young people who are already addressing important local and global issues through innovative ideas, leadership, and community impact.

Eligibilities
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to creating positive change.

- Be able to demonstrate measurable impact in their community or field.
- Be available to attend the summit in Cape Town from 3–6 November 2026.
