The Introduction to Leadership (ITL) course consists of two parts: ITL 1 and ITL 2. Through this two-month self-paced online course, you will complete a series of reflection exercises that will guide you on:

  • Identifying your life’s purpose
  • Thinking about your future in a more concrete way
  • Understanding more about the Dimensions of Leadership at Wedu and related traits
  • Building a leadership development plan which is an initial self-assessment of your leadership potential and skills
  • Setting goals which is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future and turning your vision of this future into reality
  • Learning to use a self-management planner for your goals and time management, etc.

Introduction to Leadership (ITL) is a 2-part online programme designed to help you find focus in your leadership development objectives and start reflecting upon your personal and professional goals.

ITL is an entryway for you to be part of the Wedu Leadership Community, which will open other opportunities such as life-long mentorship through Rising Stars programme and education funding through FISA programme.

The Introduction to Leadership Course is a gateway to

  • Their community has female leaders with diverse backgrounds and interests – they do not restrict or select based on cultural and socioeconomic factors, nor political, religious, or professional affiliations.
  • If you identify yourself as female and are at least 18 years old and above, this opportunity is for you.
