  • The scholarship will only cover the cost of the tuition fee for the bachelor’s or the master’s program, depending upon the scholarship program you are applying for.

  • For the King Carl Gustaf Scholarship, applicants must be Citizens of Ethiopia, Yemen, Ukraine, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Myanmar, the Philippines, Mexico, and South Africa.
  • All applicants must demonstrate good academic results and must be interested in an educational environment.
  • The scholarship will only be awarded for the master’s program (the priority program you chose for admission) at Uppsala University.
  • Applicants must apply for the master’s program before the university admission deadline.
  • Applicants must meet the criteria and requirements of the master’s program they applied for; they must submit an application fee and submit documents before the scholarship deadline.
  • Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree certificate to apply for the master’s program.
