- The value of this scholarship is £5,000 and is awarded as a tuition fee waiver.
- No direct payment is made to any applicant.
- The scholarship is paid in each year of applicable study:
- Undergraduate applicants can receive the scholarship for up to 5 years of progressing study. (£20,000 over 5 years).
- Where the course is a 3.5-year Undergraduate Degree (School of Business) then the scholarship will only be applied in Year 2 onwards.
- Postgraduate Taught applicants (including Master of Research and Masters by Research) – where the course spans more than 12 months full time, and a full year tuition fee is due in each academic year, then the scholarship can be applied in both years of study.
- Scholarships are awarded on an Unconditional basis. However, this is not linked to the Course application status.
- Scholarships cannot be awarded on a pro-rata basis.
Eligibilities
To be considered for a scholarship, the applicant must:
- Have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for January 2024, and received an Offer for a full-time, on-campus Course. Please see the Terms and Conditions for exclusions.
- Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in the applicant’s Offer letter.
- Not hold any other University of Dundee Scholarships.
- Be classified as an International Fee-paying student by the University of Dundee.
- Not be studying for a Ph.D. Course.
- Have a Course tuition fee of £19,600. NB: Any course which does not have a fee of this value, or above, will not be considered for this award
Application Process
- Please complete the application form via the “Apply now” button below.
- Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
- Please submit the application prior to starting the CAS process, as the University will not be able to award it post-CAS issuance due to Visa arrangements.
- The application form is in the form of a personal statement, of no more than 350 words.
- All applications are reviewed by a panel of university staff and selection is based on the quality of the personal statement.
- Only applications that pass the eligibility criteria will be reviewed, all other applications will be rejected and the applicant notified.
- All decisions are communicated with an applicant, whether successful or unsuccessful
