Dr. Bryant Orjiako is the sponsor of the scholarship, which furthers Oxford’s objective of establishing worthwhile opportunities throughout Africa. With the help of this donation, a brand-new African MBA scholarship that is fully endowed will be established and available to students attending the university from all around Africa. It’s the university’s first of its sort. Students from Africa get financial support through scholarships to complete their MBA from Saïd Business School (Oxford Saïd or SBS) the business school of the University of Oxford.

The University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, also known as Oxford Saïd or SBS, is its business school. Following a bequest by Wafic Saïd, the Oxford School of Management Studies was renamed as Saïd Business School in 1996. The institution offers management education and is frequently named among the best business schools in the world.
Oxford MBA programs are well-known for their emphasis on entrepreneurship, particularly social entrepreneurship. 9% of MBA graduates each year launch their own business immediately after receiving their degree. Oxford Said was ranked #20 internationally and #14 for female founders in PitchBook’s list of MBA programs for founders in 2020 and 2021. Oxford was rated eighth globally in PitchBook’s 2022 rating of graduates and MBAs who have established capital-backed companies, with 1,083 founders creating 905 companies and raising $34 billion in funding. Saïd Business School is the University of Oxford’s department for graduate students in business, management, and finance.
There is just one scholarship available. Scholarship is given out in accordance with academic achievement as evidenced by GMAT or GRE scores, degree results, prior university honors and awards, and other academic accomplishments. Evidence of having aided in the development of Africa and evidence that one intends to do so in the future.
Candidates who apply by this date for the scholarship may also be considered if they apply by the final MBA application deadline on May 17, 2024. It is advised to apply as soon as possible, nevertheless.

Eligibilities
- Oxford MBA students who are of African nationality and ordinarily resident in an African country.
