Application Process
- Apply through the Monash myApp Portal – Graduate research scholarship applications are submitted together with the PhD course application. Both new applicants and currently enrolled students must use the same portal for admission and scholarship consideration.
- No separate scholarship form required – Eligible candidates are automatically considered for all available graduate research scholarships, including the Maxwell King PhD Scholarship. There is no need to select specific awards during the application process.
- Invitation to apply – If you are a new applicant, you must first receive an invitation to apply from the relevant Monash faculty before starting your application.
- Scholarship round – The Maxwell King PhD Scholarship is awarded only in the 31 October round each year. Applicants from earlier rounds (Rounds 1 to 4 of the same year) will automatically be considered for nomination by their faculty.
