The core mission of the MCFSP at AUB is to blend rigorous academic training with a strong emphasis on social responsibility. Scholars are admitted into competitive PhD programs across high-demand fields such as Engineering (including Biomedical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Environmental), Theoretical Physics and Epidemiology. The academic journey at AUB is highly structured, requiring full-time commitment to doctoral studies within a world-class research environment. Eligibilities
- Must hold a strong academic record in your previous degree and be admitted into an eligible PhD program at AUB.
- Must be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
- Talent that exceeds financial resources. Commitment to giving back to the community, country and region.
- Must be committed to attending all mandatory additional learning experiences and workshops required by the Scholars Program.
- Must demonstrate Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE).
Tests that you can submit: AUB-EN test, TOEFL IBT, IELTS (Academic), GRE (Verbal), GMAT (Verbal), or DUOLINGO English Test (DET).
Application Process
- Complete an AUB online graduate application and upload supporting documents by the deadline.
- Select Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program under the Financial Opportunities section of the online graduate application.
- You must complete both the AUB Graduate Application and the AUB Financial Aid Application by the deadline to be considered for the scholarship.
