The volunteer will: 1. View the data and produce Evaluation Infographics from the evaluation reports and any other methodological document produced by the Evaluation Unit of the UNICEF Regional Office for West and Central Africa (WCARO). They must comply with WCARO quality standards and must be adapted to the identified audiences and to the expectations of the “evaluation” unit 2. This process will involve a phase of understanding the expectations of UNICEF, which will revolve around: ( i) exchanges between the volunteer and the Regional Evaluation Advisor – who will be in charge of supervising and guiding the volunteer, (ii) a familiarization session with the UNICEF communication guidelines; 3.

As part of efforts to support the response to COVID-19, the WCARO Evaluation Unit supports the efforts of UNICEF Country Offices and Governments to conduct real-time evaluations of their response to the pandemic. To this end, the Evaluation Unit has developed a series of tools (including concept notes, support guides, manuals) aimed at strengthening the capacities of partners and UNICEF Country Offices in COVID evaluation -19. The contribution of the volunteer will be essential to finalize the design of this documentation and any other evaluation report produced during the period between May and September 2020, while ensuring quality and functionality in relation to the training objectives envisaged.
