The program is structured as a rigorous, three-phase funnel spanning up to a year, designed to vet concepts based on market needs and execution potential.
Phase 1: Kick off with a virtual “sprint” of intensive research to define your customer-problem fit, while interviewing prospects to uncover insights that will shape your solution. This early stage focuses on strategic guidance, without requiring equity or providing direct funding.
Phase 2: an eight-week hybrid phase involving both online workshops and essential in-person attendance in Palo Alto, California. Engage directly with customers and prospects to better understand their needs, validate ideas with prototypes, refine your value proposition, and plan an MVP and POC with those customers in mind.
Phase 3: a nine-month hybrid commitment. Dive deeper into MVP development, working closely with your customers to further validate your product’s value and market fit. Begin generating revenue with paying customers, and prepare to scale by building your team and engaging potential investors.

This includes a strong interest in startups that utilize advanced technologies such as Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Data & Predictive Analytics, capitalizing on NEC’s core strengths in these fields.
Elev X! Ignite is an opportunity for ambitious founders who are ready to build, test, and scale impactful technology solutions, providing not just financial support, but the strategic corporate backing necessary to tackle complex enterprise challenges. The program is specifically directed towards founders who are based in and are incorporating their venture as a U.S. entity, ensuring a focused and compliant development path within the US market.

Eligibilities
- Must be working as a team or actively in the process of forming one (solo founders are accepted but co-founders are strongly encouraged).
- Must be an ambitious, hands-on founders who are ready to explore bold ideas and rapidly test early-stage solutions with their support.
- Must be able to build and test lightweight prototypes (builder-type founder who can write code, use no-code tools, or create functional demos independently).
- Must be or agree to be incorporated as a U.S. entity before the start of Phase 2 (September, 2025).
- Generating revenue or raising capital are not required (the focus is on early-stage ideas).
