CASEC Youth Representative Program 2020

The African Center for Solidarity and Mutual Aid between Communities (CASEC | ACSAC) is an NGO created on February 15, 1997, to serve as a framework for reflection and the implementation of action plans for community development in Africa. The Center engages all its forces to promote peace and cohesion between all peoples by enabling them to develop economic activities that can improve their living conditions and by carrying out a set of social actions in synergy with social organizations to maximize their impacts. Its purpose is the sustainable and integral development of all African communities.

Since 2017, the Center has set up a unit dedicated solely to young people so that they can implement actions that can allow the inclusion of young people in development programs and policies. In 2018, the Youth unit proposed the “Young Student, Heart of Sustainable Development” project. The target of the project is youth, especially young students and doctoral students from universities and schools. This project was marked by the national forum on the action for sustainable development and the role of youth in 2018 and the Student Youth Forum and sustainable development in 2019, the establishment of Youth Talks, and the School of SDGs.
