The United Nations Development Program is the backbone of the UN Development system. We support governments to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. We focus our global efforts on six signature solutions: eradication of poverty, accountable and inclusive governance, resilience, nature-based development solutions, clean and affordable energy, and gender equality.

The UNDP Global Policy Centre for Governance (Oslo Governance Centre) advances global dialogue and knowledge on inclusive and transformative governance for peaceful, just, and inclusive societies. The Centre builds knowledge, insight and data by drawing on the experience of practitioners, policymakers and researchers as well as stimulating global discourse and dialogue on key governance questions in the world today.

Housed in the Global Policy Centre for Governance since September 2022, UNDP’s Anti-Corruption for Peaceful and Inclusive Societies (ACPIS) global project is UNDP’s main vehicle for providing policy and programme support on anti-corruption and coordinating UNDP’s anti-corruption work both internally through UNDP regional hubs and country offices and externally with other relevant partners.

UNDP’s work on anti-corruption has been instrumental in advancing the transparency, accountability, and integrity agendas at global, regional and country levels. The ACPIS global project contributes to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by integrating anti-corruption solutions in service delivery sectors, strengthening the institutional capacity of institutions to prevent and address corruption, leveraging technology and innovation for integrity and anti-corruption, and leading anti-corruption knowledge and global advocacy on anti-corruption.

As an intern with ACPIS at the Global Policy Centre for Governance, you will earn an understanding of how international organisations function, gain knowledge on key and acute global governance challenges and be part of a diverse and dedicated team working on promoting inclusive, accountable, and effective governance, and anti-corruption. You must have strong time management and organisational skills, work as a team player, and be comfortable working on a variety of tasks.

  • In accordance with the UNDP internship policy, UNDP interns are eligible to receive a monthly stipend, with a rate that varies depending on the duty location. The stipend will be paid monthly, and part-time internship arrangements are prorated accordingly.
  • Where an intern is financially supported by an institution, government or third party, UNDP will pay the intern the difference, if any, between the external financial support provided and the applicable UNDP stipend.
