In 2026, They will host four interns for the following projects:

  • Advancement Operations: Interns will learn how an Advancement department functions, assist with operational responsibilities, and build skills in donor relations, database management, and event planning. This internship combines practical responsibilities with mentorship, offering a wide variety of experiences that prepare interns for future roles in the Advancement field. Interns will also be part of an exciting moment for the museum as they plan the inaugural Making History Network Summit.
  • Communications Program: “Beyond Notable” Communications Internship: The “Beyond Notable” internship offers a unique opportunity to make women’s history more accessible and discoverable online. Interns will work closely with two mentors to research women’s lives using archival materials, databases, and scholarly sources, then translate findings into engaging narratives for the museum’s “Beyond Notable” blog series.
