The UN Women Security for Asia Pacific Region seeks to enlist a full-time or part-time intern to support the section in security services. UN Women has recognized a need for developing an internal business development, communications strategy and strengthening the security support to Asia and Pacific Region and increase security capacity to support and promulgate UN Women within the United Nations Security Management System.
This position is located within the UN Women Regional Office of Asia and Pacific (ROAP), in Bangkok Thailand. The Security Education Development Intern will work in close coordination with the Regional Operations Manager and will report directly to the UN Women Regional Security Specialist of Arab States and Asia Pacific Region. The role will be completed from UN Women Regional Office of Asia and Pacific with no requirement for travel.

In line with the approved UN Women Security Services Section Annual Work Plan (AWP); the Security Education Development Intern, will provide support to the development of outputs, whilst also scoping internal UN Women security training needs, communication requirements and developing security training plan, evaluation and materials.
