- Fellows will get professional experience. They will work on different World Bank projects under the supervision and mentorship of World Bank DEC researchers.
- Fellows will get training on cutting-edge research practices, techniques, and technologies and engage with the World Bank operations.
- Shortlisted candidates will work under the supervision of researchers at the World Bank.
- Fellows will receive a one-week technical onboarding training at the start of the program, which will help them in capacity building, including training on reproducible research practices.
- Fellows will get hands-on training and seminars from top economists to get new skills.
- Furthermore, they will enhance their ability to identify, study, and write about important development policy questions.
- Fellows will get a chance to disseminate research by writing a blog based on their fellowship research within DEC. It will showcase their research and contribution to development policy discussions. Every year, the top 4 blogs will get a chance to publish on DEC’s Let’s Talk Development blog.
- A monthly allowance of $46,500 will be granted to the fellows for the eight months of fellowship.
- Candidates will receive assistance in their G4 visa procedure from the World Bank H.R. Furthermore, the fellowship will not cover travel expenses.

Eligibilities
- Candidates should be national of the country’s World Bank members.
- Master’s degree graduates are eligible to apply for the RSMFP 2024.
- Fresh Ph.D. students in economics or a related field can also apply.
- Candidates must be at most 35 by June 30, 2024.
- Candidate must be fluent in English.
- Nationals from developing countries will be preferred.
- Candidates must be available for relocation to Washington, D.C., for the fellowship.
