Based at Yale’s International Leadership Center and housed within the Jackson School of Global Affairs, the program brings together a diverse cohort of accomplished professionals from around the world. Each year selected World Fellows spend four months in residence at Yale typically from mid-August to mid-December, engaging in an enriching experience focused on intellectual growth, leadership development and global exchange.
Throughout the program, Fellows have opportunities to broaden their perspectives, strengthen their leadership and professional skills, and explore pressing global issues. Through seminars, workshops, discussions, networking opportunities and interactions with Yale faculty, students and the wider university community, participants exchange ideas and gain new insights from a diverse group of international leaders.
One of the program’s greatest strengths is its global community. Fellows come from a wide range of countries, cultures, professions, and backgrounds, creating a dynamic environment for collaboration, learning, and knowledge-sharing. Participants also become part of a lifelong network connecting them with fellow leaders and the broader Yale community.
