ASEM-DUO-Fellowship-Programme-2019-20

ASEM-DUO is approved in 2000 from ASEM III Summit and commenced in 2001.  ASEM-DUO Fellowship Programme has supported exchanges of professors and students in tertiary education field between Asia and Europe under the ASEM domain. Current ASEM Partners are eligible for ASEM-DUO Fellowship Programme.

  • 2019 DUO-Korea Fellowship Programme
    • DUO-Korea Fellowship Programme was established in 2001 to promote exchanges of people between Korea and 30 European countries on a balanced and permanent basis. In this respect, DUO-Korea requires that a PAIR (two persons) of students be exchanged in the framework of a cooperative project.
  • DUO-Singapore Fellowship Programme
    • The DUO-Singapore Fellowship Programme is awarded by the Singapore government to promote academic exchanges between full-time undergraduate students who are Singapore (or ASEAN citizens) and students from universities in European ASEM member countries.
  • 2020 DUO-Thailand Fellowship Programme
    • DUO-Thailand Fellowship Programme aims to enhance balanced mobility of students between Thailand and 30 ASEM member states in Europe by supporting paired-based and two-way exchanges. In this respect, the programme requires that a PAIR of students (one from Thai university and another from European University) be exchanged in the framework of cooperative project/cooperation between higher education institutions in Thailand and 30 ASEM member states in Europe.
  • 2020 DUO-India Fellowship Programme(Students)
    • DUO-India Fellowship Programme is established in 2019 to promote the exchange of people between India and European countries on a balanced and permanent basis. For this program, only such institutes which are part of the Joint Research Projects under Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC) are eligible to participate.
  • 2019 DUO-Sweden Fellowship Programme
    • DUO-Sweden Fellowship Program was established in 2010 to promote exchanges of people between Sweden and 21 Asian countries* on a balanced basis. In this respect, DUO-Sweden requires that a PAIR (two persons) of students be exchanged in an academic cooperative arrangement.
  • 2019 DUO-Belgium/Flanders Fellowship Programme
    • DUO-Belgium/Flanders Fellowship Programme was established in 2011 to promote exchanges of students between Belgium/Flanders and 4 Asian countries (China, India, South Korea and Vietnam) on a balanced and permanent basis. In this respect, DUO-Belgium/Flanders requires that a PAIR (two persons) of students will be exchanged in the framework of a cooperative project.
  • 2019 DUO-Belgium/Wallonia-Brussels Fellowship Programme
    • DUO/Wallonia-Brussels has been established at the Wallonia-Brussels Federation to promote “paired exchanges” between professors from Wallonia-Brussels HEIs and Asian ones.
