ASEAN Youth Initiative conference 2017 is a partially funded international conference for selected ASEAN Youth to express their aspirations regarding global issues and the realization of SDGs (Sustainabl Development Goals) in South East Asia.

To commemorate the 2nd year of conducting this event, we have established the grand theme of “Ensuring Fairness, Advancing ASEAN”. This Year, we are discussing 4 SDGs Which are: Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well Being, Clean Water & Sanitation, Reduced Inequalities.

AYIC is not simply a conference. it is a youth initiative conference which seeks to make a continous change in ASEAN through real action. Hence, Youths will also engage in chamber discussion to formulate action plans for the aforementioned SDGs.

The Action plan will be sent as recommendation to policy making institutions and will be executed by each youth in their respective countries. As Change is the centerpiece of our conference, we also have a social campaign hashtag to show our intention of creating change and spreading the initiative throughout ASEAN.
