Applications for the 2023-2024 Voice Talent Online Annual Scholarship Competition are open!
Academically exceptional students are invited to participate in our yearly scholarship competitions for a chance to win one of three cash awards totaling USD $3,000! Voice Talent Online’s goal is to assist students in some small way with the irksome expenses associated with their studies, such books, rent, transportation, and so forth.
If you are a student enrolled in a college or university anywhere in the world, you are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Actually, applications come in from all over the world, including the Philippines, Brazil, Canada, and Nigeria!
This year’s themes are…
- #1 “Top Five Tips for Voice Overs” : From eating less chocolate to yawning a lot, what are some of the most important voice over tips according to voice actors? Tell the world what top tips you found and explain to us why those are recommended! These can be from famous voice actors to those in the voice over industry.
- #2 “Voice Talent in Video Gaming: Golden Age or Obsolete?” : With AI being able to take pre-recorded voice talents and creating voice lines in video games, is this the golden age of voice talent in gaming? Or perhaps the gaming industry no longer needs voice talents. What are your thoughts?
- #3 “Auto-Captions in Video Translations: Helpful or Hurtful?” : Have you ever watched a YouTube video with auto-captions and the words were so off from the actual audio? Even though they are inconsistent, automated captions can also be really beneficial to certain people, such as the deaf community.
While your writing should, either directly or indirectly, address the theme, the main thing Voice Talent Online is looking for is excellent writing. The winner will be judged on the entertainment value and quality of their entry. The judge’s decision is final. The winner’s name, photo and name of university/college will be posted here on the website of Voice Talent Online upcoming Spring 2024.

Eligibilities
- You can apply for the scholarship if you are a student enrolled in a university or college anywhere in the world.
- Make sure your blog or web page contains the required hyperlink voice over linking to the correct page on our website.
Application Process
- Write a 300-500 word blog post in English on the category theme topic.
- You can use a different title but stay on topic and make it clear that your entry is for scholarship #1, #2 or #3.
- Make sure you include the hyperlink voice talent in the text.
- Visit the official website or the apply link.
- From the ‘Application Form’ section, choose your preferred category.
- Complete the form as instructed.
