The Harvard Crimson Global Case Competition (HCGCC) 2025 is a virtual, international business case competition designed for high school students (aged 13-18) to develop practical business skills, creativity, and teamwork. Organized by The Harvard Crimson in partnership with industry experts, this is its 8th edition, and it offers aspiring young leaders a chance to tackle real-world business challenges, present strategic solutions, and connect with peers and professionals across the globe.

Participants form teams of 2-4 students (with at least two or three members recommended) to compete through multiple rounds, including regional qualifiers and global finals. The competition is structured with virtual rounds, bootcamps, webinars, and workshops to build skills in areas like consulting, entrepreneurship, strategy, and problem solving.
No prior experience in business or economics is required; the organizers provide on-demand learning resources and live sessions with industry professionals to help level the playing field. Teams must analyze a business case, develop solutions, and pitch their recommendations to a panel of judges at various stages.
There are attractive incentives: cash prizes, virtual work experience opportunities with Fortune 500 companies, mentorship sessions, and educational consulting help. For many students, HCGCC offers both a platform to enhance their resumes and the chance to experience strategy formulation, teamwork, and presentation to expert judges.
