Submit Your Scores and The 4th International Festival Experimental Music and Intermedia in USA.
The Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia (CEMI) at the University of North Texas (UNT) in the US is inviting electronic music composers from around the world to submit scores for the fourth edition of CEMIcircles Festival on 18 and 19 October 2019.
Since 1993, CEMI has focused on music and arts technologies, hosted within UNT’s Division of Composition Studies. CEMI fosters the integration of electroacoustic music, live performance, video/film, plastic arts and theatre.
Interested composers can submit scores for the following ensembles:
- The Amorsima Trio (violin, viola and cello).
- The Third Inversion Reed Trio (clarinet, saxophone and oboe).
- The NOVA Ensemble (flute, piano, percussion, alto, soprano, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, violin, viola and cello).
Applicants should note that particular emphasis will be given to multichannel works for 36 or fewer loudspeakers, including Ambisonics (up to fifth order), VBAP and Octaphonic.
One submission per composer.
