Their call for innovation was answered by more than 13,000 startups from 186 countries, resulting in a global portfolio of 191 ventures funded in 92 countries. Locally, their initiatives targeted 2,000+ university students across the UAE, stimulating creativity and supporting 59 grassroots solutions.

Expo City Dubai has another changemaker academy program. The Changemakers Academy is an innovation and entrepreneurship incubator that builds on the success of Expo 2020 Dubai’s University Innovation Program (UIP). Providing training, mentorship, licensing and grants of up to ê 50,000, this intensive program empowers graduates and aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into commercially viable businesses.
