The European Commission has launched a new Call for Proposals under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), making available a total budget of EUR 34 million. The call is designed to support projects that strengthen the integration of migrants across the EU. It focuses on five main areas: improving access to healthcare for migrants, supporting migrant women through better labour market integration, enhancing digital literacy among migrants, creating accessible educational pathways for refugees, and ensuring the protection of migrant children.
The call is open to public authorities, economic and social partners, employers, and civil society organisations. Local and regional authorities, as well as migrant organisations, are especially encouraged to apply. Applications can be submitted from 3 April 2025, with the deadline set for 16 September 2025 at 17:00 CET (Brussels time). An updated version of the call text document has been published by the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs, with a summary of changes listed under “History of changes” on page 2. These changes, however, do not affect the submission deadline.
To guide potential applicants, the European Commission will organise an online information session on 14 May 2025 at 10:00 (Brussels time). The session will last about two and a half hours, covering the thematic priorities of the call, along with the legal, financial, and administrative aspects of the application process. It will be livestreamed and recorded, with the recording becoming available approximately 24 hours later. The agenda includes a welcome session, presentations on the five thematic priorities, and an overview of the legal and financial requirements. Interaction will not be possible during the session, but questions can be submitted via email to [email protected]. Questions of general interest will later be published on the Funding and Tenders Opportunities Portal under “Topics Q&As.”
Submission sessions are already available for the five strands of the call: AMIF-2025-TF2-AG-INTE-01-WOMEN, AMIF-2025-TF2-AG-INTE-02-HEALTH, AMIF-2025-TF2-AG-INTE-03-DIGITAL, AMIF-2025-TF2-AG-INTE-04-PATHWAYS, and AMIF-2025-TF2-AG-INTE-05-CHILDREN. Interested applicants are reminded to carefully review the eligibility criteria and updated call document before submitting their proposals. The final deadline for applications remains 16 September 2025 at 17:00 CET.
