Benefits

Eligibilities
- Open to undergraduate and MSc students worldwide.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized academic institution.
- Must propose a project focused on animal welfare science.
- Each project must have a qualified supervisor at the host institution.
- Projects must be feasible within 4–8 weeks and align with UFAW’s mission
Application Process
- Applications open annually in September/October and close on 28 February of the following year.
- Interested students must complete and submit an online application form available on the UFAW website.
- The application form requires:
- Personal and academic details of the student, including a CV.
- Information about the project supervisor(s) overseeing the research.
- A detailed project description, including:
- Project location and duration.
- Objectives and implications for animal welfare.
