The Earth Project’s Young Ambassador Program (YAP) is a 6-month virtual internship (April-September 2021) that will bring together global leaders to collaborate on public outreach and communication, global event initiatives and more to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship for a better tomorrow.
The Earth Project’s mission is to showcase planet Earth and promote sustainable Earth stewardship, bringing people together to solve the planet’s greatest environmental and societal challenges.

They are a nimble organisation made up predominantly of volunteers passionate that everyone should have the opportunity to be part of creating a better, more just and sustainable future for people and the planet.
They are dedicated to public engagement, finding new ways to engage citizens, communities, businesses, NGOs to governments; from local to global, preparing citizens with scientific knowledge, to take on the global challenges the world now faces, such as; biodiversity loss, climate change, pollution, food, energy and Earth resource insecurity.

- Young Ambassadors will develop critical skills through monthly workshops and have the opportunity to represent the Earth Project and its mission to sustainable Earth stewardship.
- After this program, Young Ambassadors will be equipped with the necessary skills to start their own initiatives and pilot Earth Projects in their very own communities.
Eligibilities
In assessing candidates following qualities will be prioritised:
- Leadership experience
- Passion and/or interest in sustainable Earth stewardship
- Experience with outreach and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- At this time they are only accepting applications from candidates 18 and older
Application Process
To apply for the Young Ambassadors Program one must submit the following application package:

Detailed Instructions:
- 2 – 3 minutes long personal statement (use any video recording platform you like, e.g. Zoom, etc)
- Start with a brief introduction/elevator pitch
