VisionSpring is looking for Project Director 2025 in Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
- Provide strategic direction for the project. Develop and update the project’s strategic approaches, ensuring that programmatic directions are technically sound, evidence-based, and consistent with global and country priorities.
- Ensure that project performance objectives and mandated deliverables, such as technical activities, annual work plans, programmatic, financial, and reporting work, are completed promptly and meet the highest quality standards.
- Ensure leadership and management reinforce the team’s commitment to knowledge sharing and building and strengthening local partners’ capacity.
Program and Operations Management
- Develop program management tools like Gantt charts, KPI tracking sheets, and other relevant project management tools.
- In collaboration with technical leads, ensures adherence to all technical standards and specifications, and directs and guides a periodic implementation review process to monitor progress and identify actions needed to achieve expected results.
Financial and Risk Management
- Develop, monitor, and revise the budget pipeline, and conduct monthly reviews to ensure accountability for all project activities and accurate and timely reporting of financial deliverables.
- As directed and authorized by Country Directors/Managers or VisionSpring’s senior leadership, administer funds and approve expenditures in accordance with VisionSpring’s procedures, cost principles, and regulations.
Partner Management
- With support from Country management, coordinate activities of teams, subcontractors and partners to create synergy and ensure that project responsibilities are carried out in accordance with donor regulations and project goals.
- Representation and Liaison with the Donor and key stakeholders.
- Cultivate and strengthen positive, productive relationships with VisionSpring’s partners, agencies, and other fellow organizations, ensuring that VisionSpring is consistently viewed as an effective implementing partner in meeting and achieving project targets.
Compliance & Reporting
- Work with VisionSpring’s business functions to implement and monitor policies and procedures that improve efficiency and quality and report accordingly.
- Partner successfully with internal and external financial, technical, and operations teams of VisionSpring to monitor project progress, capture and analyze learning, and challenges, maximize the interface of activities across countries and projects.
- Ensure that we adhere to the donor’s regulations and timely submission of required reports and deliverables.
- Keep the donor appraised of any significant progress and challenges of the project in a timely manner.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of an Advanced Degree in public health, business administration, global health, or any related fields.
- At least ten (10) years of work experience successfully managing large, multi-partner, multi-year international health sector projects.
- At least five (5) years of work experience in senior management positions in international donor-funded organizations managing human and financial resources.
- Previous experience serving as Chief of Party, Project Director etc. on government or private organizations or contractual health projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple sub-partners and leading institutional capacity development activities.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in establishing project systems and overseeing project start-up and close-out.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with senior-level individuals (private and/or government officials) in relevant offices.
