Daraz is looking for Team Lead Operations Excellence 2025 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize Sortation and First Mile processes through gap analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles. Work with operations teams to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Lead and support continuous improvement projects within the Sortation and First Mile areas, driving productivity gains, reducing costs, and improving service levels.
- Quality & Compliance Monitoring: Assist in ensuring compliance with operational processes, quality standards, and safety protocols in Sortation and First Mile functions. Conduct audits, track quality metrics, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Root Cause Analysis: Participate in root cause analysis of operational issues affecting Sortation and First Mile, working with the operations team to identify solutions and prevent recurrence.
- Implementation of Lean/Six Sigma Tools: Deploy Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies to enhance efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve overall operational performance.
- Training & Development: Work with the Operations Excellence Manager to develop and deliver training programs for team members in Sortation and First Mile to instil a culture of continuous improvement, process discipline, and quality management.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Support the creation of performance monitoring dashboards and track KPIs related to Sortation and First Mile. Provide regular updates on improvement initiatives, project status, and progress to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Inventory) to align on goals and implement improvement strategies that benefit the overall supply chain performance.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of experience in operational excellence, process optimization, or supply chain management within logistics or e-commerce. Prior experience in driving Lean/Six Sigma projects is highly.
- Experience in a B2C e-commerce or fast-paced delivery environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across countries and functions.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a structured, data-driven manner.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Bangladesh, Nepal, and Myanmar as per business needs.
