Find Your Bangladesh | An Online Competition 2020 in Bangladesh.
Find Your Bangladesh is an online competition for young people (age 18-25) from all around the world! The objective is to first identify a less popular historical site in Bangladesh with interesting histories, legends, mythologies, or folklore. Then write and submit a proposal to us where you will need to focus on the historical value of the location, interesting myths (if any), how one can help preserve the site and promotional strategies for the location. You will get a full guideline for the competition after you have registered!
- In stage one, the teams will have to submit a proposal consisting of an essay on the historical site of their choice and their plans on how to preserve it.
- For stage two, the teams will prepare and upload a video presentation about the location of choice and elaborate on their proposed preservation plans.
- The final round will be a showdown where finalists will have to defend their ideas and proposals against others.
Finding Bangladesh is a quest of a group of young people which focuses on collecting, preserving and initiating conversations on Bangladesh’s ancient histories, mythologies and legends. The aim is to revive lost tales of our land and help us in being more sentient of ourselves—our identity.
