Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) presents ‘DigiTact 2025‘, organized by the Independent Marketing Club (IMC) of CIU Business School, CIU. DigiTact 2025 is designed to prepare students for the challenges of the modern digital landscape. This inter-university regional digital marketing competition brings together participants from leading universities in Chattogram to solve real-world marketing cases, engage in focus group discussions, and pitch impactful digital campaigns. Through workshops, case submissions, focus group discussions, and pitch presentations, DigiTact 2025 bridges academic learning with industry practice, giving students the opportunity to sharpen their creativity, analytical skills, and strategic thinking. The event includes two interactive digital marketing workshops that equip teams with essential tools, strategies, and insights, helping them approach the case studies and discussions with creativity, analytical rigor, and strategic thinking. Round 1, scheduled for 18th September 2025, is an online case submission round where teams receive a case study designed in collaboration with Eastern Bank PLC and must submit their solutions within 24 hours without extensions. Round 2, on 22nd September 2025, involves shortlisted participants joining focus groups to discuss a hypothetical case, analyze it collaboratively, and present their solutions, with individual performance being evaluated. Round 3 is the Grand Finale, set for 25th September 2025.

Eligibilities

𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀 & 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• Each team must have 𝟯 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀

• All members must be undergraduate students from the same university

• Teams can be cross-department but not cross-university

• Designate a team leader responsible for all communications and submissions

• All team members must actively participate in every round they qualify for

• Any changes in team composition after registration must be communicated to the organizers in advance

• Teams should ensure effective collaboration and fair distribution of tasks among members

Application Process

To apply for DigiTact 2025, each team must complete the following steps:

  1. Form a Team:

    • Each team must consist of 3 undergraduate students from the same university.

    • Teams may include members from different departments, but not from different universities.

    • Designate one team leader to handle all communication and submissions.

    • A fee of BDT 499 per team must be paid during the registration process.

  4. Complete Registration by the Deadline:

    • The last date to register is 12th September 2025.

    • Late entries will not be accepted.

  5. Prepare for the Competition:

    • Once registered, teams will receive further instructions regarding workshops and the first round of the competition.
