VisionSpring is looking for Program Manager 2025 in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement the programs in Bangladesh, with a focus on overseeing the execution of successful vision camps throughout the country.
- Closely work with the VisionSpring Supply Chain team for the seamless dispatch of eyeglasses to partners prior to project launch.
- Track budget vs actual expenditure and inform senior program manager for any discrepancy.
- Prepare annual project level budget and forecast periodically to keep on track.
- Identify and work with designated hospital partners to follow up on referrals for workers requiring eye care that is outside of the scope of VisionSpring camp screening and team capacity.
- Oversee vision camp implementation to ensure service quality and timeliness.
- Attend vision camps to ensure service quality.
- Supervise the faithful and accurate entry of all vision camp activities such as screenings, refractive error rates, glasses dispensed, etc. into our system.
- Ensure that customer profile data, customer stories, and survey data are collected and processed by the team to help understand customer satisfaction, preferences, and barriers to vision and optical care.
- Prepare reports for senior management and donors as needed.
- Grow and manage the program partner networks. Proper use of creativity to find new paths, and expand existing ones, to bring eyeglasses to our target population.
- Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual screening and sales targets by winning new and repeat contracts.
- Faithfully and accurately enter all sales activity—calls, conversations, meetings, WhatsApp and SMS messages, etc.—into our system.
- Represent VisionSpring at local industry forums and in peer groups. Attend educational and market development events such as partner workshops, seminars, conferences, trainings, etc.
- Update Senior Program Manager and Resource Mobilization team on Bangladeshi industry trends affecting the programs, including changes in Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and
- Exporters Association (BGMEA) priorities and leadership.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, or a related field from a recognized university in Bangladesh.
- At least 10 years of professional experience, with proven involvement in diverse programs or projects across Bangladesh. Minimum 5 Years working experience in relevant position will be an added value.
- Willingness to travel extensively up to 60% of the time across the country for program implementation and field activity oversight.
- Strong ability to provide supportive supervision through coaching and guidance in a collaborative, encouraging manner rather than a disciplinary one.
- Data-driven mindset that regularly monitors monthly targets and uses data to refine strategies and enhance outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial attitude open to innovation, experimentation, and exploring new approaches to expand program reach and impact.
- Passion for large-scale initiatives and making a meaningful difference in delivering affordable vision care solutions.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bengali.
- Priority consideration will be given to candidates with these areas of experience: livelihoods, garments, road safety etc.).
