Elanco is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in Dhaka

Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Manage sales force. By training, evaluating performance, defining and assigning responsibilities to assemble a sales team focused on the achievement of annual sales budget. Also actively work with associates of his team in order to coach & develop them, based on the principles of CSS & leadership training.
• To stay, observe & coach FFs after attending call with prescribers. Territory visit by visiting various territories frequently, to ensure that the team members are getting proper coaching, motivation & support. Thereby they could develop themselves in the process of creative thinking to achieve the desired goals.
• Coach on the detailing of products to the FFs & make sure that they are possessing adequate product knowledge.
• Use of Promo-tools by ensuring that the FF-Members using promo-tools judiciously & according to setting-up SMART objectives & also, as per the guide line of the Product Management Department.
• Personal contact with opinion leaders by Developing personal contact with important opinion leaders in livestock department, NGOs, Poultry Feed & Medicine Seller & also Pharmaceuticals trade, other important people of the society who may directly or indirectly influence our business.
• Serves as the strategic and tactical coordinator between corporate office and field sales team by coordinating field force, Customer Service and Marketing Department.
• Oversees regional budget by making expenditure recommendations, evaluating costs and tracking expenses to control costs and operate within targeted goals.
• Provide market input on pricing, positioning and competitive activity to identify critical issues and develop strategies and provides related analysis.
• Develops monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for existing and potential products to grow the Farm animal business within the region.
