BRAC International is looking for Manager, Monitoring and Learning 2024 in Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review the existing MEL practices in BI countries, identify gaps and ideate ways to strengthen the country MEL systems and team.
  • Support the establishment of a BI-wide real-time/ digital monitoring system, ensure coordinated data management at all levels.
  • Develop survey tools, analyse survey data, prepare reports and presentations.
  • Actively contribute to programme/ project proposals, concept notes, Expression of Interest (EOI), etc. from monitoring, evaluation, and learning perspectives.
  • Contribute to learning generation and organisational reporting.
  • Prepare consolidated monitoring reports at multiple levels (BI, COs, programmes/ projects) in collaboration with programme and monitoring team, identification of problems/ potential bottlenecks in taking actions by the programmds based on monitoring findings, and providing solutions/ specific recommendations as appropriate.
  • Develop reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition, aggregation, and reporting credible and actionable information as per project and programmd needs.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare meeting notes, manage the Monitoring and Learning unit’s administrative tasks.
  • Develop and establish mechanisms for capturing learning and sharing lessons learned across the organisation.
  • Build the capacity of BI HO and CO staff members to develop high quality and actionable monitoring reports.
  • Develop, test and implement Monitoring & Learning SOP as needed.
  • Create and sustain a work environment of mutual respect where team members strive to achieve excellence.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Eligibilities

Job Requirements: 

  • Masters in Development Studies/ Economics/ Business Administration/ Sociology/ Statistics/ Population Science from a reputed university. Requirements of educational background can be flexible for highly experienced person.
  • Excellent writing and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly mobile & flexible to work from distant locations.
  • Overseeing and travel to project site when required.
  • Possess high ethical and moral standards.
  • Sensible and adaptive to diverse work culture.
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining large scale monitoring and MIS for national or international NGOs.
  • Experience in data management, analysis and reporting including largescale database management.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and appropriate data analysis packages (MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS, STATA, etc.).
