Abt Associates is looking for Communication, Documentation and Learning Officer 2022 in Dhaka
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Bangladesh deliverables are well organized, edited, and formatted
- Coordinate dissemination of key reports and other project deliverables and communication products to local stakeholders and others who can learn from the Activity’s work
- Work closely with LHSS Bangladesh team and Abt Home Office Communication team to design and implement communication strategy for Bangladesh following LHSS branding and marking policy and support visibility of the project activities by writing entries in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other LHSS media platforms;
- Prepare news, blog, press release, event reports or any other promotional content;
- Design e-newsletters, briefs, banners, posters or any other promotional materials;
- Develop LHSS learning calendar and organize regular learning sessions in collaboration with technical team and other stakeholders
- Work with LHSS team to collect stories, photographs and videos from the field during project activities and site visits and m aintain digital archiving of all workshop/meeting/event reports, press releases and photos;
- Develop a mechanism for regular collection of stories, events for the newsletter and LHSS social media;
- Document lessons learned, challenges and best practices and support preparation of quarterly and annual project reports;
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the line manager .

Eligibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed university degree (post-graduate) preferably in Communication and Media Studies, Journalism, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Anthropology, Sociology or other related fields
- More than 3 -5 years of experience in a similar position will be preferable.
- Experience in photography and video documentation
- Relevant experience in graphics design, report writing, and documentation will be given priority
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent command over written and oral Bangla and English
- Local candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
