Solve a Sustainable Climate Solutions-hackathon at Climathon | Dhaka 2019

Climathon is a year-round programme, with a powerful solutions-hackathon at its core, creating climate action in the form of tangible projects; supporting climate-positive businesses and start-ups; and, addressing local policy changes.
Climathon follows three steps toward achieving climate action,
-Defining the climate challenges
-Developing solutions to solve climate challenges
-Providing continued support to realize the solutions.

Are you interested in being a part of this global event? Register to help solve the local climate challenge and make history with your idea. Challenges can vary from urban mobility, climate finance, circular economy, energy, etc globally but this year thry have chosen, Sustainable Energy and Food Adulteration and Contamination.

Innovation happens when diverse perspectives are brought together—creating both tangible climate solutions for cities and empowered communities. Climathon is more than a hackathon, it’s a movement.
Participation process:
You’ll collaborate with other participants during a 24-hour hackathon to find innovative solutions. The Climathon will take place simultaneously around the globe on 25th October; same for Dhaka.

You can register as an individual or even as a team. However individuals will have to form a team on the hackathon day through guidance of the moderators. Maximum number of team members would be 5.

This will be a 24 hour program and you must be present at the venue from starting till it ends. Which means you have to be physically present at the venue during the whole event. Register only if you can commit that time-frame and contribute accordingly.

There will be jury board to decide the best team and the best team will be recognized.
Also, there will be few selected teams from all the participating teams around the world for Climathon Global Awards to attend the final event at Paris, France.
