Chittagong University Career Club in association with Turn To Positive is going to organize SDG 3: Global Mental Health Festival 2020 in Chittagong. CUCC is best known for creating opportunities and new innovative ideas. Keeping with the legacy and bringing new things.

This will be a two-day long event. It will bring youth participants, policymakers, experts and NGO employees who are working on the mental health policies. With a lot of representatives and experts from around the world and overseas, what the committee members want to accomplish through this event is “Providing good supports to people in every surroundings”

This festival is the best opportunity to showcase your skills and increase your network with NGOs and stakeholders. This event will be divided into three main categories:

1. Seminar on Mental Health;
2. Video contest;
3. Poster Presentation.

Event description:

►Seminar:

Experts, professors and policymakers will share their knowledgeable talks about mental health and provide a free workshop.
Also Selected representative will able to share their ideas on how to provide better support on surrounding areas.

►Video contest:
Participants will represent their videos about social development within 3 minutes. Submission will be on the event page and will be shortlisted to top ten videos. And these ten videos will be premiered in the main event.

Video Contest Instructions:
1. Have to give a Video Title.
2. Not more than 3 minutes.
3 Theme: mental health, gender equity, environmental issues and other social problems.
4. Submission deadline: April 2, 2020.
5. Have to upload in the event page with Hashtags:

►Poster Showcasing:
A poster showcasing will be divided into two categories;
1.Juniors (Students of Schools and Colleges)
2. Seniors (University students).
They will show us about policymaking, innovative ideas and deep knowledge with solution about mental health or any other social problems.

Poster Showcasing Instructions:
1. The poster must have an impact on the mental health theme.
2. Selected theme: mental health policy, solutions, innovative ideas about mental health, child labour, child marriage, transgender issues, eve-teasing, child abuse, menstrual education.
3. Have to send abstract not more than 300 words, abstract must include introduction/background, methods, findings, conclusion.
4. Clearly mention the in the email subject: Global Mental Health festival poster showcase.
5. The abstract will be reviewed by the Committee members and Professors of a psychologist. If you get selected we will notify you through email and Facebook post in the event page.

6. The last date of abstract submitting is 1st April 2020.
7. If your poster gets selected for the poster showcase, it is your responsibility to print the poster to showcase it in the event.
8. Poster size A4 or A0, portrait, Landscape orientation, laminated(optional) Readable (minimal size 20 front) better bring pushpin or tape.
