International Rescue Committee is looking for Government Liaison & Admin Manager 2025 in Cox’s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professional relationships with CIC, UNO, DC, RRRC, and key officials; visit CIC Offices and host communities.
  • Manage approvals for medical assessments, biometrics, and client exits with relevant authorities.
  • Guide and train staff on government regulations (RRRC, DC, UNO, CIC).
  • Represent IRC in discussions with CIC, RRRC, and relevant bodies to resolve issues.
  • Ensure timely submission and approval of documents from government offices.
  • Ensure IRC TOLL project compliance with NGO Affairs Bureau, DC Office, RRRC, and other government bodies.
  • Liaise with government agencies (UNO, CS, DGFI, MoFA) for document submission and approvals.
  • Represent IRC in external meetings and provide support at district, union, and camp levels.
  • Follow up with UNO for project closure and local administration certificates.
  • Coordinate with IRC teams and government offices for smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (SC, Finance, Program) for procurement and logistics.
  • Work with other IRC programs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate with IRC Ops and government liaison teams to ensure timely documentation.
  • Assist with office tasks and government-related duties in Cox’s Bazar.
  • Ensure adherence to IRC’s policies on safeguarding, PSEA, code of conduct, and security.
  • Take on tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Eligibilities

Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • 6+ years in Government Liaison/Coordination.
  • Experience with UN Agencies or NGOs.

Competencies:

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Experience in refugee contexts is a plus.
  • Proven ability in external representation and coordination.
  • Experience managing government liaison and field operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • High energy, able to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing projects.
  • Culturally and gender-sensitive, adaptable, and willing to travel.

Language:

  • Strong communication in Bengali and English.
  • Familiarity with Rohingya or Chittagonian is a plus.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in public administration, humanities, social sciences, social work, or law.
