Job Responsibilities:

• Work with Investigators on proposals and protocols development;
• Draft sections of protocols relating to research (e.g. questionnaire, guidelines);
• Review protocol for adherence to qualitative/quantitative research principles and make appropriate suggestions in order to support the creation of sound proposals and protocols with funding potential.
• Organize MITS procedure by following SOP under the guidance of Research Investigator, SRI and DPC;
• Conduct MITS procedure and enter data about transportation of samples to the virology Laboratory through strict guidelines.
• Taking Assertive and empathic consent form the deceased families in the Hospital,
• Participate and conduct orientation sessions for the health care providers of the Surveillance facilities, provide ward round regularly and update it to the team;
• Support research material development, train new field staff on delivery of CHAMPS intervention, conduct and supervise CHAMPS sessions;
• Transcribe and translate quantitative data, Entry of the outcome like follow-up of the unstable cases, admission, death, STB, MITS and Non-MITS cases in the CHAMPS Tracker and REDCap, address questions made by supervisors, investigators and donor, and finalize report;
• Supervision and troubleshooting field problem if required;
• Provide services to the “Call in Centre” according to the guideline;
• Entry data of “Call in Centre’s” by using Tab/smart phone and keep tract of the urgent referred cases and facilitate other information dissemination efforts in the study communities;
• Prepare and share weekly and monthly report and work plan as per deliverable.
• Review information on data captured and develop possible manuscript ideas under the guidance of Principal Investigator, Co-investigators, Senior Research Investigator and Project coordinator;
• Perform analysis based on direction from supervisor;
• Create a report with findings and share with supervisor;
• Write sections of the manuscript under supportive guidance of supervisor;
• Gather input and make corrections of manuscript;
• provide input and feedback in order to support scientific manuscript writing.
• Guide team members on completion of tasks, reports and documents (e.g. research methods);
• Provide on job training of junior staffs;
• Provide feedback on team members’ performance to supervisor in order to develop an efficient team.
