UNDP is looking for Communication Officer 2020 in Dhaka

UNDP is looking for Communication Officer- Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme 2020 in Dhaka.

‘Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme’ is going to recruit a Communication Officer who will respond as the communication focal point of the project and coordinate other media-related issues. He/ She will raise awareness about a2i initiatives in the country, positioning a2i as a trusted and credible partner of the Government’s Digital Bangladesh vision.

He/ She will also develop and implement a communication strategy for a2i. the communication Officer will maintain a close working relationship with Government, development partners, and other stakeholders for mentoring, guidance, and support for key communication tools. The Communication Officer will work as part of the Communications team to achieve the results outlined below and he/she is responsible for the efficient use of the funds allocated.

Under the direct supervision of the Programme Advisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the below-mentioned activities.

• Developing and implementing a well-thought communication strategy and campaign. Ensure greater awareness about a2i initiatives in the country and the impact of its work.
• Ensuring that all communication Products of a2i are well presented, result-focused, informative, clear, and concise.
• Maintain an extensive network with national and international media. Ensure the effective use of electronic and social media.
• Maintain and update a2i’s websites with relevant and current information.
• Organize the national event and building an active working relationship with different government wings
• Create awareness and sustaining public demand for e-Services among the mass people through different media.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as and when required assigned by project management
