Walton is looking for Sourcing Engineer 2024 in Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and procurement work by ensuring quality, shortest lead time, and competitive price.
- Find the suitable suppliers of RM and Spare Parts.
- To finalize PO/PI, SKD/CKD, LC, TT, CAD based on types of customization checklist and guidelines by maintaining proper correspondents with concerned departments.
- Coordinate commercial staffs to procure materials or components considering all available Customs and VAT SROs.
- Prepare a budgetary report for material purchase and make monthly report for management.
- Participate major overseas Exhibitions/Trade Fair to find the suitable cost-effective suppliers & materials.
- Regular corresponding with the materials suppliers about the quality feedback and development.
- Coordinate production and planning department and follow up material stock based on the requirements.

Educational Requirements
- Minimum BSc in ME/EEE/IPE from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 Year/s
Additional Job Requirements
- Work Experience in Home Appliances Product (Washing Machine, Gas Stove, Induction Cooker, Rice Cooker, Cookware, Iron, Geyser etc.) will get preference.
- Should have advanced XL/Oracle experience.
- Must have ERP/PR-PO create and process experience.
- Should have clear knowledge on HS Code, Duty, SRO & VAT.
- Should have manufacturing operation knowledge.
- Should have good knowledge of Excel and MS office.
