Siemens Energy is hiring GT/ST Turbine Auxiliaries Installation/Commissioning Specialist 2023 in Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:

  Assess individual components of the control valves or mechanical control device parts for defects or malfunctioning and provide a suitable recommendation.

  • Perform inspection, maintenance, reassembly, and quality checks on measured tolerances of assembled parts of valves and actuators, for compliance with standard and regulations.
  • Carry out function check and calibration utilizing in house equipment to ensure the compliance to specification, quality, and standards of OEM.
  • As an Auxiliaries Installation/Commissioning Engineer, you will independently service power plant components (gas and steam turbine generator sets) in Bangladesh, the Asia Pacific region and worldwide.
  • Perform documentation of test results within check/test sheets and ensure timely and documentation in relevant protocols, data sheets and field reports according to standard and requirements.
  • Perform tasks that require mobility in difficult working environments, such as construction sites and power plants.
  • Plan scope of work and duration to provide input to the project or site management team during the preparation and execution phase.
  • Plan and inspect required spare parts and provide input or recommendation to the project or site management team during the preparation and execution phase.
  • Supervise, execute and/or support any other given specialist task during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance of Siemens Energy equipment as per cross-training and multiskilling concept of Field Service in AP and relevant capabilities.
  • Ensure works carried out by personnel on site are in accordance with the required HSE standards and the safety and health of sub-contractors and peers is taken care of.

Eligibilities

  •  Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years proven independent working experience in valve maintenance either in oil and gas, chemical processing plants or power generation industry.
  • Experience with servicing, overhauling and calibration of Siemens Energy or Equivalent Gas Turbine specific gas/ liquid fuels stop valves, control valves, actuators and related auxiliary utilizing Siemens Energy specialized equipment is an advantage. Other/ additional Siemens Energy or Equivalent Gas Turbine related mechanical maintenance competence will provide additional advantages.
  • Able to read, understand and independently work to drawings, specifications and unit conversions in accordance to international codes and standards
  • Good English language skills both verbally and written is a minimum requirement, having more language skills is a plus.
  • Good level of digital literacy, confident user of relevant IT-applications.
  • Pro-active, problem solving and ready to work attitude, readiness to take additional tasks to improve the statuesque if needed,
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work either independently or with multinational groups of personnel, in shift rotation with flexible hours.
  • Good understanding of HSE and Quality requirements and standards in the related field of work.
  • Willing to work and travel independently and extensively to new work locations.
  • Ability and willingness to work over holidays, weekends as required by the forced events & emergency jobs
