ShopUp is looking for Collection Excellence Lead 2023 in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement strategies for the efficient collection of loan installments from small SME borrowers.
- Utilize data and analytics to segment borrowers and tailor collection approaches accordingly.
- Lead and manage a team of collection agents, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to ensure high performance.
- Set clear targets and KPIs for the collection team and monitor their progress.
- Continuously assess and refine the loan collection process for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Introduce automation and technology solutions to streamline collection efforts.
- Identify potential default risks and work with the credit and risk management teams to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in all collection activities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with borrowers to encourage on-time repayments.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare regular reports on collection performance, delinquency rates, and recovery trends.
- Analyze data to identify patterns and develop proactive collection strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
- Ensure the secure storage of sensitive customer information.

Eligibilities
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in microfinance, financial services, or a similar industry, with a minimum of [7] years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of collection strategies, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of technology to optimize collection processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of local regulatory requirements related to microfinance and collection activities
