Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to lead, plan, manage and execute for assigned function under business analysis unit
- Ensure regulatory compliance across relevant areas of Commercial Business Operation
- Identifying a range of credible and relevant information sources and recognize the need to collect new data when necessary from internal and external sources
- Deliver customer insight use cases having business and revenue impact to meet Robi’s business target
- Collaborate with other units within the ACE department to create coherence in long-term Analytics roadmap execution
- Collaborate with IT Data warehouse team to ensure necessary IT support to ensure smooth operation of Business Analysis unit
- Plan and manage the capacity development/enhancement of internal resources to ensure optimized utilization of BI Tools/Systems
- Generate descriptive and diagnostic analysis and actionable business insights across assigned areas for regular data-driven actions to drive business growth
Robi is the second largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh with 46.88 Mn subscribers as of end of December 2018. The company commenced operation in 1997 as Telekom Malaysia International (Bangladesh) with the brand name ‘Aktel’. Eligibilities
Academic Qualifications
- B.Sc. in CS, MIS, Business Informatics, CSC/CSE, Statistics/Applied Statistics. MBA will be an added advantage
Specific Skills Required
- Previous experience working in Telecom will be considered as added qualification
- Excellent people skill including proven record of leadership, ownership, and communication
- End to End Revenue value chain understanding with detail technical knowledge on BI, Customer Analytics, GSM OSS & BSS
- Customer-centric mind-set and ability to think strategically
- Consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to create new analytics use cases and to make others understand the importance of advance analytics
- Excellent computation and data management skills, with experience in handling huge volume of data (knowledge of SQL is a must) and granularity in analysis
- Good analytical, problem solving and innovative / strategic thinking ability and follow established development methodology
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
